About Kristi

in 2021, Kristi Wilson was elected to serve on the Portland Community College Board of Directors – Zone 7. She has worked at the City of Hillsboro for 23 years in various roles, After high school, she was hired as a utility worker for Hillsboro Parks & Recreation where she worked while attending PCC in the evenings. Her current role is as a Workforce Development Manager in the Economic Development Department. 

She now has over a decade of workforce development experience and has created statewide recognized best practices on forming public-private partnership to advance equitable workforce strategies. Over the last two years, she has participated in advocacy efforts to elevate PCC as a critical investment for legislatures and community leaders. She attends events to network and raise money to support PCC programs, including PCC Future Connect, the DREAMers Resource Center, and the Mark Mitsui Opportunity Scholarship. She has been an engaging board member and will be able to continue her role with the knowledge and experience that no one else can bring to the board.

Kristi holds an Associates of Science degree from PCC and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from PSU.

Kristi lives in Hillsboro, Oregon with her husband Chris, and their two children, Addisen and Kinsley.
